Welcome to the official website of Munetsugu Satomi (or Satomi Munetsugu in Japan).

He was a famous graphic designer known for his Art Deco posters which are displayed in some of the most prestigious museums of the world.

He was a very prolific artist with more than 20000 pieces of artwork produced during his 60 year long career.

He was born and raised in Japan. He went to France at the age of 18 and studied art in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. 

He worked in France, Japan and in the USA.

During WWII he also lived and worked in Thailand.
